Job Opportunity 

We are recruiting for a full-time role titled: Analyst. The job is ideally suited to someone with strong research, analysis and people skills, and a passion for business, society and sustainability.

The successful applicant will work closely with MAP’s Manager and Director, supporting the delivery of high-impact client work and contributing to MAP’s growth, as well as the smooth running of MAP’s operations. 

Location 

London, UK – hybrid. 

The role will include both remote and in-office work, with opportunities to attend events and external engagements. 

Key Responsibilities 

Responsibilities will include the following, delivered to a consistently high standard: 

Research and Analysis 

  • Conduct research on key topics to support projects and strategic decision-making. 

  • Analyse data and trends to provide insights for internal and client-facing initiatives. 

  • Contribute to developing recommendations that align with MAP’s priorities and objectives.  

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Assist in developing strategies to build and maintain positive relationships with partners.

  • Draft content for strategic communications, including newsletters, reports, and stakeholder updates.  

  • Maintain and update stakeholder databases to support effective engagement. 

Monitoring and Reporting 

  • Track developments in relevant industries, sectors, and policy areas, maintaining organised records of key insights. 

  • Compile and summarise updates for reports and internal use. 

  • Conduct regular reviews of external news and industry trends to ensure awareness of current opportunities and challenges. 

Event Organisation 

  • Coordinate logistics for online and in-person events, including invitations, scheduling, and preparing materials. 

  • Support engagement with event participants, including speakers and key stakeholders. 

  • Assist in the delivery of events, ensuring follow-up actions are captured and implemented. 

Project and Administrative Support 

  • Provide organisational support for project planning, delivery, and follow-up actions. 

  • Identify and explore new opportunities for projects, partnerships, and client growth. 

  • Prepare materials for internal and external meetings and assist in tracking progress on agreed actions. 

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience, impact, and/or skills in most if not all of the following: 

  • Research and analysis 

  • Project management, support and administration 

  • Relationship development 

  • Event organisation  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication 

  • Fluent or native English.  An additional language is advantageous 

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail  

  • Proficiency in tools like Excel and CRM systems 

You will be educated to university degree or higher level, or have relevant equivalent professional experience. 

Salary Band 

£27,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on professional experience (minimum 1-3 years), with progression opportunities based on performance.
